Nice place to hangout with friends. Must watch architectural marvel. You will feel at peace with the beautiful landscape all around. Graffiti art can be seen on the walls outside the park. It has great history to tell. One of the must visit places in Delhi.
Hauz Khas Complex in Hauz Khas, South Delhi houses a water tank, an Islamic seminary, a mosque, a tomb and pavilions built around an urbanized village with medieval history traced to the 13th century of Delhi Sultanate reign. It was part of Siri, the second medieval city of India of the Delhi Sultanate of Alauddin Khalji Dynasty (1296–1316). The etymology of the name Hauz Khas in Persian is derived from the words ‘Hauz’: "water tank" (or lake) and ‘Khas’:"royal"- the "Royal tank". The large water tank or reservoir was first built by Allauddin Khilji (the plaque displayed at the site records this fact) to supply water to the inhabitants of Siri. The tank was de–silted during the reign of Firuz Shah Tughlaq (1351–88). Several buildings (Mosque and madrasa) and tombs were built overlooking the water tank or lake. Firuz Shah's tomb pivots the L–shaped building complex which overlooks the tank.[
Nice place to hang around to look back in history. The complex is nicely protected but need some repairs.
Everything is beautiful except tomb's worker they will not allow any gimble even trypod i don"t know why. but you can use camera and mobile .

Hauz Khas complex houses some very good historical ruins in the middle of urban jungle of Delhi. It's chaotic outside but quite peaceful and serene inside. It is a great place to spend a morning or an evening there. Moreover, when you are done with exploring the complex, there are many good cafes and restaurants just outside the complex.
